New space to double production capacity and enhance collaborative office operationsJuly 9, 2025

Long Branch, NJ – Rook Coffee announced it has signed a lease for a new 11,000-square-foot headquarters and cold brew production facility, marking a major expansion for the company. Co-Founders and Co-CEOs Holly Migliaccio and Shawn Kingsley, along with President Brandon Purcelly, finalized the lease on May 14. The new facility, located on Shafto Road in Tinton Falls, is expected to be completed by early fall. The move will double Rook’s cold brew production capacity while improving efficiency and innovation across the board. Rook will retain operations at its current Long Branch site on 3rd Avenue, which will continue to serve as its hot coffee roasting and packaging hub.“This expansion has been years in the making,” said Purcelly. “It will unlock incredible new opportunities for Rook Coffee, both in production and in the experience we deliver to our customers and teams.”Built for Growth and InnovationThe Shafto Road facility features 30-foot ceilings, an open floor plan, and state-of-the-art brewing equipment. With new automated systems, Rook’s production team can reduce manual labor and focus more on quality control and R&D. The new setup is designed to at least double that capacity. The expansion also creates space for Rook’s rapidly growing e-commerce operation, which ships both hot coffee and cold brew to customers across the country. With additional room and streamlined logistics, the company will be better positioned to scale national fulfillment while maintaining its high standards of freshness and speedy service.“Nothing in the product will change. Quality remains our number one priority,” added Purcelly. The 3rd Avenue location will continue to house hot coffee production during the cold brew move, with additional space allocated for storage. This dedicated approach ensures both cold brew and hot coffee operations benefit from specialized environments and workflows.Elevating the Workplace ExperienceBeyond production, the new facility includes 3,500 square feet of purpose-built office space, replacing the fragmented and distraction-prone setup currently in place.“It hasn’t been ideal for teamwork,” said Purcelly. “This new layout will promote collaboration and give our HQ team the tools they need to thrive.”The improved headquarters is expected to boost productivity and team synergy, while also supporting the company’s strategic goals for expansion and innovation.Looking Ahead: More Flavors, More PossibilitiesThe upgraded facility also enables faster development of new cold brew flavors, including limited releases, giving the brand greater agility in product innovation. Additionally, the increased capacity opens the door to potential new store openings in the near future.“With more flexibility, we can be more nimble with new offerings, and that includes stores too,” said Purcelly.A Bold Step ForwardThis expansion represents a pivotal milestone for Rook Coffee, strengthening its ability to meet rising demand while maintaining its core commitment to quality. The company anticipates officially moving into the new space by November.About Rook CoffeeFounded in 2010, Rook Coffee is a visionary coffee company known for delivering exceptional quality and a uniquely simple experience.
