Through Rook Gives, we donate coffee and merchandise to local nonprofits throughout the year. Here's how a request works — and what makes a good fit.

Good to know: we donate coffee and merchandise - not cash. We are unable to fund individuals or political and religious organizations.

Before you apply

Is this the right fit?

What we look for

  • Tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofits, as defined by the IRS
  • Organizations serving our local New Jersey community
  • Requests at least 8 weeks ahead of the event date
  • One donation per organization every 12 months

We're not able to help with

  • Out-of-state donations
  • Sponsorships for teams and/or individuals
  • Individuals, rather than registered organizations
  • Political organizations or campaigns
  • Religious organizations, for direct religious purposes
  • Groups that discriminate on race, gender, religion or sexual orientation

The process

How a request works

Tell us about your event

Fill out one short application — organization details, event info, and how Rook will be recognized.

Attach two documents

Your 501(c)(3) determination letter, and a letterhead describing how the donation will help your community.

We review your request

Our team reviews every complete application — incomplete submissions are declined.

04

Hear back, then pick up

If approved, we'll confirm details and arrange pickup at the location nearest your event.
