April Roaster's Pick - Spring Fling Rwanda

Origin: Rwanda
Roast Level: Medium
Process: Washed

With Notes of: Citrus, Peach, Semi-sweet Chocolate

Some coffees are love at first sip — and this one’s a full-blown Spring Fling. Grown in the misty hills of Nyamasheke, Rwanda, this beautiful Bourbon varietal comes to us from Cyesha, the newest washing station from Muraho Trading Company. Founded by brothers Karthick and Gaudam Anbalagan, Muraho is on a mission to elevate Rwandan specialty coffee on the global stage—and coffees like this are making it happen.

More about the bean: Cyesha sits at 1800 meters above sea level, surrounded by fertile volcanic soil and kissed by the cooling breezes of Lake Kivu, one of Africa’s great lakes. These unique conditions, paired with an obsessive attention to detail at the station—from hand-sorting ripe red cherries to a meticulous dry fermentation and soaking process — results in a cup that’s clean, vibrant, and full of character.

Grind matters! In order to get the best extraction out of the brew method of your liking, select the appropriate grind setting. We'll take it from there. Not sure what setting to choose? Check our grind setting FAQ here.

We recommend storing whole bean and ground coffee in an airtight container, in a cool, dark place - like your kitchen cabinet, not the fridge!
