Aeropress
Are you a cowboy at heart? Love traveling light on the open road? Built for camping and all things outdoors? Then Aeropress is for you. Fast, light, easy, and makes just enough coffee for your solo adventure.
Things you’ll need:
- One super sweet Aeropress brewer
- A scale (set to grams)
- An Aeropress filter
- Water fresh off the boil
- 16g of coffee ground fine
Step One
Place your mug on your scale and pop your Aeropress right on top of that bad-boy, presoak the filter, and dump the water after the rinse.Step Two
Add your ground coffee to your Aeropress. Zero out your scale*We always use that convenient funnel that comes with the Aeropress. It helps avoid cleanup*Step Three
Start the timer. Pour the water into your Aeropress up to 250g.Step Four
After completing your pour give it one slow stir with the back of a spoon and let it chill.Step Five
When your timer hits the 1:30 mark, insert the plunger into the Aeropress and apply pressure down so that the plunge lasts about 30 seconds.Step Six
Give your coffee a quick stir and enjoy that damn fine beverage!
